Serving instructions

• Cooling: Place the tube in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Serve in a glass with ice cubes.
• Celebratory presentation: Use crushed ice, a slice of lime and a straw.

• Garnish: Add a slice of fresh lime and a sprig of mint.

The Mai Tai was first created in the 1940s by Victor J. "Trader Vic" Bergeron in California. He wanted to create a cocktail that captured the essence of tropical islands, and thus the Mai Tai was born. The name comes from the Tahitian word "maita'i", meaning "good". According to legend, the first test subject said, "Mai Tai roa ae!", meaning "From the other world!" The Mai Tai quickly became a symbol of Tiki culture and has since become one of the most popular tropical cocktails worldwide.
